18 January 2010
Today I watched Mr. John and Mr. Hary Wisnu's performance. They were great. I like the chemistry that happened there. Me and my class also wrote the assessment criteria. There's a lot to study but I'm sure I can keep up.

This day we choose the instrument that we want to play. I choose violin with Inca, Angel, Michelle, Tathia, and Beatrix. Mr. Sadrakh also introduce us to this famous Japanese traditional song tittled Sakura.

We decided an Asian country to explore it's music element. There is India, China, Japan, Philippines, and Korean. I choose Indian and my team mates are Inca, Maddy, Natasha, and Tathia. We make a mind map about Indian music like it's composers, songs, and many more.

27 January 2010
Now is the time where our teacher assessed us on singing the Sakura song. We can team up with a partner and I'm with Novi. I think I did quite well though on the assessment but I still have to make my voice clearer.

I was absent on this day because I was too tired that on the weekends I was coming from Jogja. It's too bad because I missed the presentation but it was delayed until tomorrow.

Today Indian group and Korean group is presenting. We flunked on this one because the file is corrupted and there's only very less information left. But I'm sure I can do better on the music booklet that is supposed to be submitted next week.

I submit my music booklet about Indian Music on time. Then Mr. Sadrakh explains us about three different pentatonic scales. He also gives us some examples of songs that he made according to the pentatonic scales.

10 February 2010
Today I submit my homework which is a 16 bars of pentatonic scales and Mr. Sadrakh assign us to make another 16 bars so it equals up to 32 bars.

15 February 2010
Now I have to submit my 32 bars of pentatonic scales. Our teacher signed each of our work and he presented some of my classmate's pentatonic scale work. One person from each instrument. They are all good, it's not hard to make our own melody after all.

17 February 2010
Today we all rewrite our 32 bars of melody into a sheet of paper given by Mr. Sadrakh. We also learned about making our own blog. We need to put our reflection in it. Later, we send the link to Mr. Sadrakh.
